Event Description: Our European ancestors were not the first to till Iowa's rich soil. Join us for a discussion of American Indian farming practices in Iowa. We'll walk to identify native plants that were important to American Indians. REAL Walks are geared for adults aged 50 or better. Fee: $3/member; $4/non-member. Call 362-0664 to register by phone or register online through our website.


Directions:
The Indian Creek Nature Center is located at the intersection of Otis and Bertram Roads SE in Cedar Rapids. Bertram Road may be accessed from either Mt Vernon Road SE or Highway 13. Watch for the brown Indian Creek Nature Center signs.
