Event Description: Bena Brook is a unique habitat that is home to piliated woodpeckers, skunk cabbage, blue beech trees and the Iowa-endangered shining club moss, as well as a host of other interesting flora and fauna. Take a guided walk through this lush Indian Creek Nature Center woodland. There are no trails, so come prepared to walk through the woods and along the brook. Meet at the east Lynch Wetland parking lot along Otis Road. Call 362-0664 to register by phone or register on our website.
